Four Day Painting Workshop With Paramjit Singh

Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi organised a four day painting workshop by eminent painter Paramjit Singh along with 15 Chandigarh artists from March 29 to April 1, 2009 at Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh as part of the Chandigarh Arts & Heritage Festival.

Chandigarh art community and art lovers were witness to two separate demonstrations by the master landscape artist. Paramjit Singh painted three canvases showing two different techniques.

The demo was attended with a pin drop silence by the overwhelmed viewers as if they were listening to musician play Aalap. The master painter made them listen to the brush strokes like one listens to a classical musical concert.
